We would like to welcome Andrew McDonald and his family back to the Lighthouse as he begins his role as the Campus Missionary!

Here is what Andrew had to say:

With excitement and anticipation, we would like to introduce ourselves! My name is Andrew McDonald, an alum of The Lighthouse (or as we knew it then, the BSU).

After my time as a NWMSU student and serving as BSU staff for 2 more years, I married my wife Beth and began teaching high school Bible, coaching varsity baseball, and serving as the campus chaplain for St Joseph Christian School. During those 10 years, I have also been the pastor and youth pastor of a local church. Our family is growing, with our children Judah, Boston, Jonathan, Emelia, and another boy, Knox, due in July! As a family, we enjoy time together outside playing ball and hunting/shooting, occasionally nerding out over superhero movies, and we stay busy traveling to do things or see people we love.

Through college ministry, God gave me the foundation for career, marriage & family, lifelong friends, and most importantly a deeper knowledge and understanding of Him. The Lighthouse has never stopped being a special place to us; it’ll be an honor to serve with you and for you!
